It’s essential to consider the contextual factors often underlying lateness, such as unforeseen circumstances or personal challenges.
Therefore, a balanced approach may be more beneficial—wherein a flexible framework is established to address chronic lateness while recognizing legitimate exceptions. This would encourage a culture of accountability without stifling individual circumstances, promoting an environment where employees feel valued and understood.
