Sample Answer
Tourism is a double-edged sword when it comes to its impact on my country. On one hand, it undoubtedly contributes to the economy by generating significant revenue and creating numerous jobs, particularly in hospitality and service sectors. This influx of income can lead to the preservation of cultural heritage and the improvement of infrastructure, making the country more appealing to both visitors and residents alike.
On the flip side, tourism can also lead to detrimental effects, such as environmental degradation and the commodification of local cultures, which risks eroding authentic traditions. Moreover, the overwhelming influx of visitors in certain areas can strain local resources and disrupt the lifestyle of residents. Therefore, while tourism can be beneficial, it is imperative that we approach its development with a sustainable mindset, balancing economic gain with the preservation of our cultural and environmental integrity.
