Online platforms, such as news websites and social media, allow for real-time updates, which are crucial, especially in times of rapidly evolving situations, like natural disasters or political upheaval.
Moreover, the internet enables a diverse array of perspectives, which enhances my understanding of global events. However, I am acutely aware of the prevalence of misinformation online, prompting me to critically evaluate sources before accepting any news as fact. In contrast, while television and newspapers do offer curated content, they often lag in timeliness.
