Indeed, I believe the propensity for the younger generation to engage with physical books is declining, predominantly due to the omnipresence of digital media. In today’s hyper-connected world, young people are often inundated with screens, whether through smartphones, tablets, or computers. The convenience and instant gratification associated with e-books and audiobooks, coupled with a myriad of engaging content online, have rendered traditional reading less appealing. Moreover, the rapid pace of modern life seems to foster a culture of immediacy, wherein the time-consuming act of reading a physical book can often be perceived as obsolete. However, it is essential to note that this shift does not necessarily diminish the value of reading as a whole. Rather, it reflects an evolving landscape where the medium of consumption is changing, but the thirst for knowledge and storytelling remains paramount.
