Sample Answer
Certainly, leisure-time activities have undergone a significant transformation over the last two to three decades. In the past, people often engaged in outdoor pursuits such as playing sports, socializing in communal spaces, or engaging in hobbies that required physical presence, like crafting or gardening. However, the advent of technology has reshaped our recreational landscape. Today, digital entertainment, such as video gaming and streaming services, dominates people's free time.
While these contemporary activities facilitate instant accessibility and global interconnectedness, they also raise concerns regarding social isolation and decreased physical activity. Moreover, the rapid pace of modern life leaves individuals with limited time for traditional leisure pursuits. Thus, while the essence of leisure—relaxation and enjoyment—remains unchanged, the modalities through which we achieve that have transformed drastically.
