Traditions in my country have undergone significant transformation over the years, primarily influenced by globalization and technological advancement. For instance, family gatherings, once a customary event marked by elaborate feasts and cultural rituals, are now often replaced with virtual meetings owing to the proliferation of digital communication platforms. Additionally, there has been a notable shift in the way younger generations perceive traditional customs; many find them less relevant to their contemporary lifestyles. This is manifest in the diminishing participation in annual festivals and rites of passage that once fostered community cohesion. However, this evolution is not entirely negative. It has led to a blending of various cultural elements, fostering a greater sense of cultural awareness and appreciation. Consequently, while some might view this change as a dilution of heritage, I believe it represents an adaptation to the demands of modern society.
