Sample Answer
While humor is incredibly subjective, there are certain types that I personally find unamusing. For instance, dark humor, which often encompasses morbid or taboo subjects, fails to resonate with me; I believe it can easily cross ethical boundaries and detract from the sensitivity required in certain situations. Additionally, humor that relies excessively on stereotypes or reinforces negative societal norms strikes me as unoriginal and potentially harmful, as it can perpetuate biases rather than challenge them. I tend to gravitate towards wit that encourages intellectual engagement or highlights the absurdities of life, rather than relying on shock value or degradation to elicit laughter. Ultimately, I feel that humor should uplift and unite rather than divide or offend.
