Conversely, the disadvantages are equally noteworthy. The pervasive use of mobile phones can lead to social isolation, as face-to-face interactions may diminish in preference to virtual engagement. Moreover, excessive smartphone usage has been linked to a decline in attention spans and an increase in mental health issues, particularly among younger generations.
