Should governments fund arts and artists?

Nonetheless, it is essential to recognize that investment in the arts can stimulate economic growth through tourism and local businesses. Therefore, I believe that while there should be a careful allocation of resources, the arts undoubtedly deserve a segment of governmental support, as they serve not only aesthetic purposes but also enhance the quality of life and promote cultural dialogue.
