Sample Answer
In my view, the inability of certain individuals to uphold their commitments can be attributed to a myriad of factors. Primarily, it often stems from an overestimation of one’s capabilities; people frequently make promises driven by enthusiasm, rather than a realistic assessment of their time and resources. Additionally, the modern pace of life, characterized by incessant distractions and competing priorities, can precipitate a loss of focus on commitments. Furthermore, societal norms that endorse flexibility in agreements might also dilute the sense of obligation associated with promises. As a result, some individuals may feel less compelled to follow through. Lastly, psychological factors, such as fear of confrontation or an aversion to disappointing others, might lead people to break promises rather than admit they cannot fulfill them.
