Sample Answer
While it is tempting to attribute laziness to the advent of modern, labor-saving devices, I would argue that this perspective is somewhat simplistic. These innovations, such as dishwashers and robotic vacuum cleaners, can indeed reduce the physical demands of various tasks, but they also afford individuals more time to engage in pursuits that are intellectually or creatively enriching. Therefore, the impact of such devices largely hinges on how people choose to allocate their newfound leisure time. Furthermore, technology can also inspire greater productivity by enabling individuals to focus on more meaningful, complex challenges rather than mundane chores. In essence, rather than rendering us lazy, modern conveniences have the potential to liberate us from monotonous tasks, encouraging a more aspirational engagement with our lives.
