Sample Answer
While I appreciate both fiction and non-fiction, I find myself gravitating more towards fiction. The primary reason for this preference lies in the immersive experience that fiction offers. Engaging with a well-crafted narrative allows me to escape the confines of reality and explore complex characters, intricate plots, and diverse worlds that often challenge my perspective and evoke deep emotional responses. Furthermore, fiction serves as a vessel for understanding the human condition, prompting introspection and empathy towards others' experiences. Conversely, non-fiction, although immensely valuable for its informational content and grounding in reality, often lacks the narrative depth that I find so compelling in fiction. Thus, while both genres have their merits, it is the imaginative and evocative power of fiction that truly captivates me.
