Sample Answer
Engaging in conversations with strangers is something I find both intriguing and beneficial, albeit infrequent. On the one hand, initiating dialogue with an unfamiliar individual can often lead to surprising insights, diverse perspectives, and occasionally even lasting connections. It dilutes the monotonous atmosphere that enshrouds public spaces, fostering a sense of community and camaraderie among people.
However, I tend to hesitate due to the prevailing social norms that often dictate that interactions remain superficial, and there's an inherent fear of social awkwardness. Furthermore, cultural context plays a pivotal role; in some societies, such overtures may be viewed as intrusive rather than friendly. Therefore, while I appreciate the value of conversing with strangers, my approach is tempered by an awareness of social boundaries and contexts.
