Sample Answer
One of the most memorable promises I made was to my younger sister, Emma, when she was going through a tough time during her final exams in high school.
The promise was that I would help her study no matter what. Emma had been feeling overwhelmed by the pressure of her exams, and I could see that it was affecting her confidence and mental well-being. I promised her that I would dedicate my evenings and weekends to review the material with her and to ensure she had a clear understanding of the subjects she was struggling with.
I made this promise because I wanted to support her during a challenging period in her life. I remember how it felt to be under pressure while studying for exams, and I wanted to make sure she didn't feel alone in her struggles. Keeping this promise was my way of showing her that I care and that she could rely on me.
In the end, I was able to keep my promise. We set up a study schedule together, and I became her study buddy for about a month. This not only helped her perform better in her exams but also strengthened our bond as siblings. Ultimately, she passed with flying colors, and I felt a sense of accomplishment knowing I could support her through it.
