Sample Answer
I would like to talk about a memorable visit I made to my friend’s workplace, which was a local coffee shop downtown. My friend, Sarah, had just started working as a barista there and I was eager to see her in action, as well as to support her on her first few days.
I visited her on a Saturday afternoon. I had heard so much about the coffee shop, not only for its unique brews but also for its cozy atmosphere. When I arrived, I was greeted with the comforting aroma of freshly ground coffee beans and baked goods. It was a bustling environment, with customers chatting and enjoying their drinks. I was thrilled to see Sarah behind the counter, expertly crafting lattes and interacting with the patrons.
During my visit, I ordered a caramel macchiato, and Sarah prepared it with such finesse. We had a brief chat during her breaks, which allowed me to understand more about her daily routine and the challenges she faced as a new barista. The experience was enlightening, as it gave me a glimpse into her world and the hard work that goes behind serving every cup of coffee.
Overall, I felt very proud of Sarah. It was inspiring to see her pursue her passion, and it deepened my appreciation for the service industry. I left the coffee shop feeling content and motivated, knowing that my friend was doing something she loved.
