Sample Answer
I would like to talk about the time my family moved to a new home when I was about twelve years old. This transition took place in the summer of 2015, and we relocated from a small town in the countryside to a larger city for my parents' jobs.
We moved to a charming suburban neighborhood, which I found very exciting yet overwhelming. I was accompanied by my parents and my younger sister, who was just eight at the time. One of the main reasons for our move was to provide more opportunities for our education and career growth. While my parents were enthusiastic about the changes, I had mixed feelings as I was leaving behind my childhood friends and familiar surroundings.
Initially, I felt anxious about starting at a new school. I was worried about fitting in and making new friends. However, my concerns started to fade once I arrived at my new school. I was pleasantly surprised by how welcoming my classmates were, and I quickly found a group of friends with similar interests.
Over time, my feelings shifted from anxiety to excitement as I began to explore the city, discover new hobbies, and adapt to different experiences. Ultimately, this move taught me the importance of embracing change and not fearing new beginnings. It was a significant life event that shaped me into a more adaptable and open-minded person.
