Sample Answer
I’d like to talk about a time when I gave advice to my younger sister, who was struggling with her studies during her final year of high school. She was feeling overwhelmed with the pressure to perform well in her exams, and I noticed that her stress was affecting her overall well-being.
I advised her to create a realistic study schedule that divided her subjects into manageable blocks of time. This way, she wouldn’t have to cram all her studying into one day. Additionally, I suggested incorporating short breaks to help her refresh her mind and stay motivated. I emphasized the importance of balancing study with relaxation, which I believed was crucial for maintaining good mental health.
The reason I gave her this advice was that I had faced similar challenges during my own school years. I remembered how organizing my time helped me vastly improve my academic performance while reducing anxiety. I wanted her to avoid the mistakes I had made, where I often underestimated the importance of planning and self-care.
After considering my suggestions, my sister managed to implement the study schedule, and I noticed a remarkable change in her demeanor. She felt more confident and less stressed, which ultimately improved her performance in her exams. It was rewarding to see her thrive, and it solidified the importance of seeking and giving good advice.
