The subway systems, although limited to major cities, exemplify a rapid transit option that alleviates traffic congestion and significantly reduces travel time. The popularity of these modes can be attributed to several factors, including their cost-effectiveness, environmental benefits compared to individual car use, and, increasingly, government initiatives promoting public transport as a means of sustainable urban development. This collective infrastructure not only facilitates connectivity but also enhances social equity by enabling individuals from various socioeconomic backgrounds to access necessary services.
