Sample Answer

Losing something valuable is always a distressing experience, and I had such an occasion when I lost my expensive wristwatch. This was not just any watch; it was a gift from my parents for my graduation and held immense sentimental value. I realized I had misplaced the watch while I was out shopping with friends. We had visited several stores, trying on clothes and accessories, and I distinctly remember taking off the watch to try on a bracelet. Unfortunately, in the midst of the excitement and distractions, I completely forgot to put it back on my wrist. It wasn’t until I got home later that evening and reached for my watch that I discovered it was missing. Panicking, I immediately retraced my steps, visiting all the stores we had gone to that day. I spoke to the shopkeepers and even enlisted my friends’ help in searching. Thankfully, at the last shop we visited, one of the clerks recognized my description and told me they had found a watch in the fitting room! The relief I felt at that moment was overwhelming. Losing my watch made me feel anxious and upset, but the experience taught me to be more mindful and cautious about my belongings. It was a valuable lesson that I won’t forget. After retrieving my watch, I cherished it even more—not just as a piece of jewelry, but as a reminder of the importance of being responsible.
