Sample Answer
One memorable time when I made a promise was to my younger sister, Mia, who looked up to me a great deal. I promised her that I would always support her in pursuing her dreams, particularly her aspiration of becoming a professional dancer.
The reason I made this promise was that I had seen how passionate she was about dancing from a young age. She would spend hours practicing in front of the mirror, and I admired her dedication. However, as she got older, she faced some challenges, including self-doubt and the pressure of academic commitments. I recognized that she needed encouragement and reassurance during this pivotal time in her life, so I took it upon myself to ensure she knew I was there for her every step of the way.
After making this promise, I felt an immense sense of responsibility, but also a deep sense of pride. I began attending her dance recitals and even helped her with her practice sessions. Seeing her grow more confident and happy in pursuing her passion was incredibly rewarding. My promise not only strengthened our bond but also taught me the importance of being supportive and dependable for loved ones.
