Sample Answer
In my opinion, it is increasingly apparent that children today allocate an excessive portion of their leisure time to watching television, which often comes at the expense of outdoor play. The allure of digital screens, such as televisions, tablets, and smartphones, is profound, typically due to the captivating content they offer. This trend not only impacts their physical health—leading to issues such as obesity—but also stunts their social development, as real-world interactions and imaginative play are significantly curtailed. Moreover, spending time outdoors is crucial for fostering a connection to nature and developing essential life skills such as teamwork and problem-solving. Therefore, a balanced approach is imperative; while screen time can be educational, it should not overshadow the invaluable experiences that outdoor activities provide.
