Sample Answer
The advent of technology has dramatically transformed reading habits, presenting both opportunities and challenges. On one hand, the proliferation of e-books and audiobooks has democratized access to literature, allowing individuals from diverse backgrounds to explore an extensive range of genres at their fingertips. This convenience can engender a love for reading that may not have been fostered through traditional print media.
Conversely, the omnipresence of digital devices can lead to a decline in deep reading, as many individuals find themselves skimming content or getting easily distracted by notifications and social media. Consequently, the shift from physical books to digital formats may have diluted the immersive experience that reading once offered. Therefore, while technology has facilitated greater accessibility to reading materials, it also challenges the quality of interaction we have with texts, necessitating a balance between the two.
