Sample Answer
Indeed, I recall a particular instance when a friend avidly recommended a classic novel, which they claimed would profoundly resonate with me. However, upon reading it, I found myself rather disappointed. The narrative style was excessively verbose, and the plot, albeit intriguing in concept, was tediously slow-paced. I often found myself disengaged, struggling to connect with the characters on a meaningful level. This experience elucidated the idea that literary taste is profoundly subjective; what enchants one reader may not necessarily captivate another. Additionally, I believe that external factors, such as mood and personal experiences, can significantly influence one’s appreciation of a text, elucidating why my friend and I had such disparate reactions to the same book.
