Sample Answer
One particular time when I was extremely busy was during my final year of university, specifically around exam season, which was in May of last year. At that time, I found myself juggling multiple responsibilities that left me with very little free time.
Firstly, I was busy with my academic commitments. I had to prepare for final exams in five different subjects, which meant dedicating a significant amount of time to revision and practice. In addition to that, I was also working on my dissertation, a substantial piece of work that required thorough research and writing. These academic pursuits demanded a lot of mental energy and focus, making my schedule quite packed.
The reason I was so busy was not only because of the heavy workload, but also due to my desire to excel and secure a good job after graduation. Therefore, I knew I had to put in my best effort.
To manage my time effectively, I implemented a strict schedule. I created a weekly planner where I allocated specific blocks of time for each subject and my dissertation. I prioritized my tasks based on deadlines and difficulty, ensuring that I tackled more challenging subjects when I was most alert. This structured approach helped me stay organized and reduced my stress levels, enabling me to navigate through that hectic period successfully.
In hindsight, that experience taught me the significance of time management and strategic planning, skills that have proven invaluable in both my academic and professional life.
