Sample Answer
One significant promise I made was to my younger sister, Emily, who is currently a high school student. The promise was that I would help her prepare for her final exams, especially in mathematics, as she was struggling with the subject. I made this promise because I remembered my own experiences during my exams, and I understood how stressful and overwhelming they could be. I wanted to assure her that she wasn’t alone in this challenging period and that she had my full support.
In making this promise, I felt a sense of responsibility because Emily looked up to me for guidance. I was also motivated by my desire to help her succeed and achieve her academic goals. I dedicated specific days each week to tutor her, explaining complex concepts and sharing tips on effective study techniques. This not only helped her academically, but it also strengthened our bond.
After I fulfilled my promise, I felt immense satisfaction and joy. Seeing the progress she made and her growing confidence was incredibly rewarding. It reminded me that promises, when kept, can create lasting impacts on relationships. Overall, this experience taught me the importance of commitment and support in family ties.
