Sample Answer
I would like to talk about a time when I helped my friend Sara with her university project. This happened about six months ago, during our final year of university. Sara was feeling overwhelmed with her research project that required a lot of data collection and analytical skills, which are not her strongest areas.
She came to me one afternoon, visibly stressed and in need of support. I could see that her deadlines were approaching, and she was struggling to organize her thoughts and data. Understanding her predicament, I decided to help her by breaking down the project into manageable tasks. First, we created a timeline to set realistic deadlines for each part of her project. Then, I assisted her in conducting research by navigating various academic databases and collecting relevant data together. I also spent time helping her analyze the data and draft the report.
The reason Sara needed my help was not only due to her lack of confidence in handling the technical aspects of the project but also because the pressure of looming deadlines made it difficult for her to think clearly. Ultimately, my support helped her not only complete her project on time but also regain her confidence in her skills. She received a good grade, and I was quite relieved to have been a part of her success.
