Sample Answer
One of the most memorable holidays I had was a trip to Thailand, specifically to the picturesque islands of Phuket and Koh Phi Phi. I traveled there by plane, which was quite an experience in itself, as I had never flown internationally before this trip. The journey took about 10 hours, and I was filled with excitement the entire time.
I went on this vacation with my best friend, Sarah. We had been planning this trip for years, dreaming about exploring the stunning beaches and vibrant culture of Thailand. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the warm, tropical breeze and the sound of the ocean waves, instantly making us feel at home.
One of the main reasons this holiday was so memorable was the range of activities we experienced. From snorkeling in crystal-clear waters to exploring the bustling markets in Phuket, every day was filled with adventure. A highlight was a boat trip to Koh Phi Phi, where we swam in some of the most beautiful lagoons I've ever seen. Furthermore, we connected with friendly locals who shared their culture and stories, enhancing our travel experience.
In conclusion, that holiday stands out not just because of the beautiful locations and activities, but also due to the deep bond I shared with my friend and the unforgettable experiences we created together.
