Sample Answer
One family business that I know well is a small bakery run by my friend’s family, called ‘Sweet Treats Bakery’. I became familiar with this business during my high school years when I often visited their shop to buy pastries and cakes for special occasions. The aroma of freshly baked bread and the cheerful atmosphere inside the bakery always drew me in.
In this family business, each member has a distinct role that contributes to its success. For instance, my friend's mother is the head baker, and she creates a variety of delicious items, including their signature chocolate cake and freshly baked croissants. My friend handles customer service, taking orders and ensuring the customers have a pleasant experience. The father manages the finances and oversees the overall operations of the bakery, which includes maintaining stock and managing supplies. This division of labor enables them to maximize efficiency in the business.
I admire ‘Sweet Treats Bakery’ for several reasons. Firstly, their commitment to quality is evident in every product they offer. Each item is made from scratch using natural ingredients, which I believe sets them apart from larger commercial bakeries. Secondly, their dedication to customer service creates a warm and welcoming environment, fostering a sense of community. Ultimately, this bakery represents hard work, creativity, and the importance of family values, all of which I deeply respect.
