Sample Answer
In contemporary society, the interest of young people in traditional customs appears to be waning, albeit not entirely extinguished. On one hand, the pervasive influence of globalization and technology has ushered in a culture that often prioritizes modernity over tradition. Many youths are more inclined towards global trends, which can sometimes lead to a disconnect from their cultural roots. On the other hand, I believe there is a growing appreciation among some young individuals for the richness of their heritage, especially as a reaction to the rapid changes they observe in the world around them. Cultural festivals and traditional practices are still celebrated, albeit often reinterpreted through a modern lens. This suggests that while traditional customs may not be as predominant as in previous generations, they still hold a significant value, prompting young people to engage with their cultural identity in novel ways.
